One of the most interesting shifts I’ve noticed over the years is how we define a “strong team.”
It used to be measured by proximity.
Who’s in the office.
Who’s in the meetings.
Who’s sitting a few desks away.Today, some of the strongest teams I’ve worked with have never shared the same room.
Different cities, countries and time zones.
Yet somehow, they move faster than teams that see each other every day.
Because collaboration was never really a location problem.
It was a trust problem.
A communication problem.
An alignment problem.
When people know where they’re going, understand their role, and trust each other to execute, distance becomes much less important.
The companies that thrive in this new era won’t necessarily be the ones with everyone under one roof.
They’ll be the ones that know how to create clarity, ownership, and connection regardless of where people are working from.
The best team isn’t always in the same room.
Sometimes they’re simply moving in the same direction.

Agreed Nat.
Remote vs. in-person is no longer the argument.High-agency team members will perform regardless of work conditions.
