Samsung Group held a session with OpenAI CEO Sam Altman for about 50 senior executives on October 31. Samsung says it has trained about 2,300 executives in AI since June.
The session took place at Samsung’s Human Resources Development Center in Yongin, South Korea. Executives from electronics, finance, and biotechnology affiliates attended.
Before the meeting, executives took hands-on training. It covered how to organize scattered business data into personal knowledge bases. It also covered how to use AI insights in management decisions.
Samsung wants to finish AI training for all employees by February 2027. Each affiliate builds its own AI plan. Each has teams for rollout, data management, and AI model operations.
Samsung is a very large company. The report gives no results from the training. Small teams have fewer resources, but the order can still apply.
The takeawaySamsung trains its leaders first and its staff next. A small business owner can learn the tools before handing work to a VA.
Why it matters
- For employers: spend a few hours with the tools you want your VA to use. You will write clearer tasks.
- For talent: ask new clients which tools they use. Clients who know their tools give clearer instructions.
