Notion announced rebuilt Agents on October 19, 2026. Agents get their own computer and browser, and they can work on a task for up to 24 hours.
The release also adds a mode called Review for me, with safety checks. A new model router called Auto picks a model for each task. Notion says Auto gave results similar to two top models on 20 or more common tasks, at about 90% lower average cost. That is Notion’s own claim.
Users can connect a ChatGPT Plus, Pro, or Go plan to a personal Notion Agent. Bring Your Own Key is in private alpha for Enterprise. All AI use now sits under one credit system.
An AI Command Center is coming soon. Admins will see use by person, feature, and agent. They will also set spending limits and alerts.
The release page gives no credit amounts or prices. It names a plan only for Bring Your Own Key. It does not say which plans get the other features.
We read the official release page on October 21, 2026. We did not test the product.
The takeawayNotion agents can now run long tasks. Plan details and prices are still missing, so confirm them before you plan client work.
Why it matters
- For talent: learn how the credit system works before you offer agent setup to a client. Cost control is part of the job.
- For employers: decide who may run agents and who pays for credits. The admin controls are not live yet.
- For agencies: plan to track credit use for each client workspace once the Command Center ships.
